Über GR-SR

"Geschichte und Region/Storia e regione", 1992 in Bozen von der "Arbeitsgruppe Regionalgeschichte" gegründet, versteht sich als regionalgeschichtliches Projekt am Schnittpunkt der deutsch- und italienischsprachigen Wissenschaftskulturen. Programmatisch der Zweisprachigkeit verpflichtet, dient GR-SR der Diskussion einer regionalhistorisch orientierten und methodisch innovativen Geschichtswissenschaft im Raum Tirol-Südtirol-Trentino und seinen Nachbargebieten. Es erscheinen Artikel über aktuelle Forschungen zu allen Epochen, besonders aus den Disziplinen Sozialgeschichte, Wirtschaftsgeschichte, Kulturgeschichte (historische Kulturwissenschaft), Geistesgeschichte und Wissenschaftsgeschichte. Besondere Berücksichtigung finden Debatten um die Wissenschaftskonzepte dieser Disziplinen, ihre Forschungsmethoden und ihre Theorien.
GR-SR erscheint seit 1992 mit jährlich 2 Heften à etwa 240 Seiten.
Die Beiträge eines Heftes sind in der Regel jeweils einem Schwerpunktthema gewidmet. Die Themen von GR-SR beziehen sich vor allem auf den zentralalpinen Raum. In vergleichender Absicht können sie sich auch auf andere Regionen erstrecken. Der Aufsatzteil stellt nicht zum Hauptthema gehörige Forschungsprojekte und Beiträge vor. Das Forum von GR-SR bietet Raum für aktuelle historische Debatten und die Erörterung gesellschaftspolitischer Fragen aus historischer Sicht sowie für Besprechungen von Ausstellungen und Tagungen. Rezensionen wichtiger Neuerscheinungen bieten einen kritischen Überblick über die aktuelle historiografische Produktion und wollen die wissenschaftliche Diskussion anregen.

La rivista "Geschichte und Region/Storia e regione", fondata nel 1992 a Bolzano dal "Gruppo di Ricerca per la Storia Regionale", intende portare avanti un progetto di storia regionale, collocato in un punto di incontro tra metodi scientifici ed approcci culturali alla ricerca dell’area tedesca ed italiana. Programmaticamente bilingue, GR-SR è strumento di discussione e confronto sul piano dell’orientamento storico regionale e dell’innovazione metodologica delle scienze storiche nell’area alpina e specialmente in Tirolo-Alto Adige/Südtirol-Trentino. Pubblica contributi relativi a nuove ricerche, che abbracciano tutte le epoche storiche, soprattutto in discipline quali la storia sociale, economica, culturale, delle idee e della storiografia. Particolare attenzione è dedicata al dibattito sui concetti scientifici di tali discipline, sui loro metodi di ricerca e sulle loro teorie.
GR-SR è pubblicata dal 1992 con una cadenza di 2 quaderni all’anno di circa 240 pagine. I Saggi di un quaderno sono generalmente dedicati ad uno specifico tema, secondo un taglio monografico. I temi di GR-SR hanno come riferimento prevalente la zona delle Alpi centrali, per quanto gli intenti comparativi permettano di raggiungere anche altre regioni. I Contributi ospitano relazioni su progetti di ricerca avviati e altri saggi, che esulano dal tema monografico della rivista. Il Forum di GR-SR dà spazio all’attualità del dibattito storico, alla discussione di problematiche politico-sociali viste dalla prospettiva della storia, alla presentazione di mostre e convegni. Le Recensioni di importanti novità editoriali offrono una panoramica critica sulla attuale produzione storiografica e intendono stimolare il dibattito scientifico.

About GR-SR

"Geschichte und Region/Storia e regione", founded in Bozen/Bolzano by the Regional History Study Group ("Arbeitsgruppe Regionalgeschichte/Gruppo di Ricerca per la Storia Regionale") in 1992, is intended to be a project on regional history at the intersection of German- and Italian-speaking scientific traditions. Systematically committed to bilingualism, GR-SR is orientated towards regional history and serves to discuss a methodically innovative science of history in the area of Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino and its neighbouring areas.
Articles on relevant research at any epoch are published. The main emphasis is on the debate of scientific concepts of social, cultural and economic history.
Since 1992, GR-SR has published two issues every year, each with arround 240 pages. The articles of a particular volume focus geographically on the area of the Central Alps. They can also be extended over other areas with the intention of drawing comparisons between each. In the essay section research projects and articles which do not belong to the main topic are presented. The forum of GR-SR offers room for the discussion of socio-political questions from the historical point of view as well as reports of exhibitions and conferences. Reviews of important recent publications offer a critical survey of topical historio-graphic productions and intend to stimulate the scientific dialogue.
